Week 10: Visualisation

Updated: May 17, 2022

Following a thorough 3 months of market research, defining personas, and ideation, we are now in a position to think about how our product will look.

This week we were supposed to be divided into two groups, each group focusing on its specialties: Communication & Psychology team – Muna, Maya, and Shir, work on app research and "Figma", a tool for designing wireframes and features. Whereas Dotan and Eden were exposed to different technologies and learned deeply the technological elements of the app.

Eventually, we all learned about the principle of UX-UI and how to utilize the system to create an initial prototype, in class.

We met at Munas' apartment and visualized the basic wireframe of our home page.

Using Figma, we sketched some basic drafts of the first step of our couple app:

At the end of the process, we made 5 different versions of the wireframe and picked one finalist:

We showed the selected one to 8 different people and asked for feedback. The main aspects that were raised were:

  • Position of Buttons: From the interviews, it emerged that the size of the buttons might make the user think that the main feature is "I think of you" while the scheduled message is the main one. Therefore, suggestions have been made of changing the positions of the buttons or conveying a clearer message to the position of the button of the highest importance.

  • Clarify the message: The middle button is not completely clear to users, the separation and difference between the two features should be sharpened, and more emphasis should be placed on the purpose of each button.

  • Image: The interviews showed that the picture is essential to users, but its current presentation is not appropriate, so its location must be changed.

Still thinking about how it might look in the future, and waiting for feedback from classmates and mentors. Hopefully, we'll have a consolidated homepage to work with next week - stay tuned!

Group 5 - as of now, we don't have a name, but we welcome suggestions (:
