This week started in class with updated presentations and with a fascinating creativity exercise to open our minds. Then we were introduced to the value proposition canvas, and we were asked to prepare one. Here it is:

After that, during the week, the Psychology & Communication team (Muna, Maya and Shir) continued to work on the app's wireframes on "Figma'' and did other user testing in order to improve the screens. After those first changes we tested the homepage screen to probe/check the flow and did the fifth Guerrilla testing with another three users.
First we used the conclusions from last usability testing and we updated the homepage screen. We improved a few buttons that described the flow of the main features; for the Create a note feature we changed the send button to CTA button that the user can understand by clicking it. Then, we wanted to test the updated home screen, so we walked around the campus looking for 3 people who fit our persona .They gave us very thoughtful insights while testing the app.

1. We should change the CTA button - "Thinking of You" so that the user will be encouraged to click on it, and add an explanation to it.
2. We should change the interface of the 'Send' button so the user can understand that if he clicks on it, he can schedule or pin the gesture by location. In addition, the copyright for this button needs to be changed.
3. We should Emphasize that our application is for the couple's space only, and no one else can see the content that is transmitted through it, except the couple.
In addition, we made a very exciting change this week. From now on our name is “Gesti”.
Gesti means gesture in Italian. We chose to translate it to Italian because the language of love is spoken in Italian and we wanted to make a combination from the Italian passion for love with our idea. We hope that you’ll like it!
This week we will keep working hard on improving our home screen to perfection!
Here are our current Home Screenshots:

In the computer science segment, we've started to build the MVP for the app. We created a project in firebase and developed a splash screen, for now it's just blank but we'll add UI once we decide on a logo. We connected the app to our firebase project and created a notification per button click using the firebase cloud messaging platform. In the next part we'll test it and try to add the user's part and especially the specific users and messages part. Looking forward for the next stage of developing the MVP!
